The Story
Chez Lili - Origins
The story of my business starts with my Grandma. Her nickname was Lili - she was beloved by our family and known for her beautiful traditional French cooking and baking. Travelling to her house was exciting and my family I would say ‘‘Chez Lili’’ translating to ‘‘at Lili’s’’. Over a decade later, Chez Lili was bakery was born in her memory - a tribute to the skill, passion, and beauty of traditional French pastry instilled in me by my Grandma Lili.
Lili was my inspiration and she passed her love of the kitchen down to me. The love and dedication that she threaded through every bake and every recipe is reflected in my own baking and it is my aim with every project to bring intertwine French tradition with my customers’ wants and needs.
I love to bake traditional French recipes and pastries but above all, I want to see my customers happy and satisfied. That is why I am happy to accommodate a variety of wants, needs and requests - because I wish to share the same joy and appreciation that was shared with me by my Grandma.

I offer most if not all kinds of main sweet treats and you can customise it to you liking with messages/writing, custom flavours and colouring, seasonal decorations etc…
When you fill your form out, add your specific custom request and I will promptly confirm whether I will be able to do it.

orders must be placed at least 2 weeks in advance and for larger orders or bigger projects this number will be different. A more specific time-frame can be provided once I have more details.

I deliver larger products and projects such as wedding cakes. I cover most areas within an hour of my home and there is a small petrol fee if delivery is required based on the distance of the delivery.

Absolutely. This is the standard method of transfer for my products. Collection is usually the morning of the agreed upon date but you can collect your order any time before 4pm.

For smaller bakes like cupcakes or cookies, no. However for larger projects like wedding cakes or niche flavours of birthday cake, yes there is tastings.

Pricing is based on time and ingredients. For instance projects that include chocolate will be more expensive. A specific price will be provided in my response to your request.

We accept cash, bank transfer and Paypal. Payment is made at the moment of delivery or pickup.

Weddings, birthdays, parties, corporate events, family gatherings etc… We can cater for any type of occasion!

If their are certain members of an event or party with specific dietary requirements, I can absolutely accommodate and cater for them. However I do not offer large scale gluten free or vegan orders, only in small and specific cases. Further details can be discussed upon ordering.
